Idli Dosa batter

Ingredients :

Rice - 3 cup
Urad Dal - 1 cup 
Fenugreek Seeds - 1 spoon 
Water - 4 to 5 cups 
Soda - 1/4 spoon 
Salt - 1 teaspoon

How to make Idli Dosa Batter : 

1. The the mixing bowl Add rice,urad dal, fenugreek seeds, wash and soak it for 4 to 5 hours. 

2. To the mixi jar pour above mixture and grind to make thick paste consistency. 

4. Keep it at warm place to ferment well for 10 hours.

3. Transfer it to bowl add soda and salt. 

Idli : 

4. For making idli take the batter make a thick paste consistency 

Greece idli plates with ghee pour the batter to the idli plates and cook it for 5 min. 

Dosa : 

5. For making dosa take the batter make thin consistency but not runny by adding quarter cup of water.

6 Heat dosa tava. When the pan is hot enough regulate the heat to medium. Immediately begin to spread it evenly starting from the centre in the circular way in a clock wise direction to make thin crepe.
