Spanish Omelette


INGREDIENTS:

1 potato, peeled and diced

1 onion, thinly sliced

5 eggs

Salt as per taste

1 tsp ground black pepper

½ cup vegetable oil 


METHOD :

1.In a hot pan, add oil and fry potatoes and thinly sliced onions in it.

2.Fry till the potatoes are soft and the onions are caramelized. 

3.Remove the onions and potatoes and save the oil for later use. 

4.In a bowl, add 5 eggs, salt, ground black pepper and fried vegetables and mix it well. 

5.In a non-stick pan, add 2 tsp oil and add the egg mixture. Cover it and cook for 2-3 minutes. 

6.Once the side is cooked, cover the pan with a plate, transfer the omelette onto the plate 

  and then slide it back to the pan and cook the other side. 

7.Press the centre of the omelette to check if it's cooked well. Remove it from the pan and enjoy it hot.  

8.Spanish omelette is now ready to serve.
